Leon Hunt BA
Senior Supervisor
lh90@le.ac.ukLeon is a Senior Supervisor at ULAS with 25 years archaeological experience on a range of sites in the East Midlands and has produced over 300 reports. Leon’s main specialism is desk-based assessments.
Leon gained his degree at University of Nottingham, before joining ULAS in 2003. He has a wide range of fieldwork experience, mainly in rural contexts. Notable projects he has directed include a Neolithic settlement of national importance at Rothley Lodge Farm, Leicestershire, an Iron Age and Romano-British site in Swarkestone, Derbyshire, and a Bronze Age site in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. He was also a site supervisor on the project.
