Centre for Media Futures
In 1966 the Â鶹ÊÓƵ founded the UK's first dedicated centre for media research. Sixty years on, the Centre for Media Futures inherits that pioneering ambition and turns it toward the questions that matter now: how AI, platforms, and algorithmic systems are reshaping public life; how journalism rebuilds trust; how media represent, and misrepresent, the communities they speak to; and how stories help us face the climate crisis. We bring together scholars, students, industry partners, and the public to think carefully and openly about what comes next.
Join us on 3 June for a , featuring a keynote by Dr Sophie Bishop (author of Influencer Creep) and a stimulating roundtable discussion.
