Profile
I am a biomedical engineer specialising in AI-enabled cardiovascular monitoring, ECG/EGM signal processing, atrial fibrillation ablation support, 12-lead ECG reconstruction and low-cost medical-device innovation. I am Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering and Deputy Programme Director of Biomedical Engineering at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ, BHF Leicester CRE Investigator, NIHR Leicester BRC Investigator, founder of the EasyCardioGram pre-spinout.
My research bridges cardiovascular clinical needs, AI algorithms and translational device development. I have secured or contributed to approximately £2.38 million in research and translational funding, including £314.8k as Principal Investigator, £931.5k as Co-Investigator and £1.135m as named candidate/key contributor. Google Scholar profile lists 775 citations, h-index 16 and i10-index 23.
I obtained BEng in Electrical Information Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing 2011 and MSc in Electrical Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2012. I completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2016. I worked as Research Associate from 2016 and Lecturer from October 2019.
