Â鶹ÊÓƵ

I graduated with a degree in Chemistry from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2001 and have since built a career in higher education administration, using my technical, organisational and governance skills to support effective university operations.

I now work as a Governance Officer at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. My role supports the University’s governance framework, including committee servicing, regulatory compliance, policy work, decision making processes, and the effective operation of key University bodies. I am particularly interested in how good governance supports accountability, transparency, risk management and informed institutional decision making.

Before moving into governance, I worked in Leicester Medical School as Business Administration Manager for the CQMU Joint Educational Institute. In that role, I supported the delivery of the BSc Clinical Sciences programme as part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s partnership with Chongqing Medical University in China. This gave me strong experience in transnational education, partnership working, programme administration, quality assurance, regulatory alignment and cross cultural collaboration.

I am passionate about higher education, and the role professional services play in supporting students, staff and institutional success. I value clear communication, collaborative working and practical problem solving, and I am always open to conversations that support learning, improvement and shared progress.
