Communications professional at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ, supporting communications activity across the NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), NIHR Leicester Clinical Research Facility (CRF), and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. Her work spans research communications, media relations, digital engagement, public involvement communications, and strategic content creation. She produces and manages content across websites, intranet platforms, newsletters, and social media channels, translating complex health and research information into accessible and engaging communications for researchers, healthcare professionals, patients, and public audiences. Her role also includes coordinating communications campaigns, supporting institutional events and engagement initiatives, monitoring analytics and media coverage, and contributing to national and regional press activity. Kavita graduated from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ with a BA in Media & Communications. Alongside her current role, she has previous experience as a Vodafone and GSK Brand Ambassador, supporting campaign delivery, student engagement, and promotional communications. During her time at university, she held several leadership and representative roles including Founder and President of the Creative Crew Society, Social Media Officer for the Women in STEM Society, Women’s Officer within the Students’ Union, and MCS Course Representative.
