Profile

I obtained my PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2022, following an MSc in Financial Mathematics and Computation from the same institution in 2017, where I was awarded the prize for Best Student Performance. During my doctoral studies, I was fully funded by the UoL Graduate Teaching Assistant scheme, and subsequently progressed to a full academic position after completing my PhD.

I was honoured to win the Leicester Students’ Union Superstar Award for Best Lecturer in the 2024–25 academic year. In addition, I was recognised through the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Citizen Recognition Scheme in 2023–24 for my contributions to teaching and student engagement.

Since the 2021–22 academic year, I have designed and delivered the Financial Mathematics module at UoL, which also serves as a core component for DLI mathematics students. I also teach a range of statistics-focused modules at UoL, including Statistics for Data Science and Generalised Linear Models, and supervise MMath/MSc student projects in related areas.

My research interests lie in financial mathematics and financial engineering, stochastic process modelling, and applied statistics.
