In this module you will learn about different wave phenomena and explore the fundamental states and properties of matter. You will explore how energy can be used and stored across a wide range of scales and lean how physical systems are constrained by the laws of thermodynamics. You will explore the origin and interactions of electromagnetic forces and fields and learn about the generation and flow of electricity. You will be introduced to basic quantum mechanical concepts and study a range of atomic and nuclear processes including radioactivity, excitation and ionisation.
