On successful completion of this module, you will be able to develop a script for a speech‑based production that demonstrates clear understanding of subject matter and genre conventions. You will apply imaginative and industry‑recognised content or podcast production processes, making effective use of standard techniques and technologies.
You will be able to identify and research opportunities for original content or podcast development, employing appropriate research methods to inform production decisions. You will also demonstrate the ability to select, integrate and manage suitable assets during post‑production, including elements such as vox pops, archive material, music beds, jingles and graphics. Throughout your work, you will show competence in performance and technical quality, alongside an informed awareness of ethical and regulatory considerations, style, audience demographics and platform specific delivery requirements.
