The AI System Thinking and AI Agent module combines theory with practical application, helping you develop the skills to design and build AI-driven solutions for real business challenges. You will explore how AI agents work, how they can support decision-making and automation and how systems-thinking can be used to understand the wider impact of AI within organisations.
A key part of the module is a hands-on experience with no-code AI development tools, including platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio. This allows you to design and prototype AI agents without needing advanced programming skills.
The module also places strong emphasis of ethical and responsible AI use. You will evaluate the opportunities and risk associated with AI-driven automation and consider how AI solutions can be implemented effectively and responsibly in professional contexts.
Through group projects and individual reflective work, you will develop practical problem-solving skills, build confidence in communicating AI ideas, and learn how to justify and evaluate your design decisions.
