Biography
A Leicester alumnus, Phil originally joined the university in 2011 as Deputy Director of Admissions and then took on a number of roles before becoming interim Director of the FSO in June of this year.
Phil has strong institutional knowledge and extensive experience in recruitment, marketing and outreach, with a clear understanding of the end to end student journey. In his previous roles, he has led key developments in recruitment strategy and delivery, working closely with academic Schools, Colleges and Professional Services to support student number, widening participation and conversion priorities.
During the interim period, Phil will work closely with colleagues across External Relations, the Executive Director of International and the wider professional services leadership to ensure continuity, maintain momentum and support alignment across recruitment, communications and engagement activity.
